Ahhh time to start thinking about the holidays. I have just started experimenting with some fall cards for upcoming classes. I am digging the Country Morning hostess set. It is so intricate and I am sure I'll be using it often. I think it lends itself to many occasions and it is really fun to work with. I used elegant eggplant, more mustard, chocolate chip, kraft and old olive card stock. Most of it was from my scrap pile.

I am so excited for the release of My Digital Studio this fall. The software will not only let you create scrapbooks that coordinate with Stampin' Up! stamps and accessories but also cards, calendars and more. My digital Studio uses Stampin' Up! colors, accessories and themes so your projects are always perfectly coordinated the Stampin' Up! way. If you don't like the two dimensional aspect of a digital program, just print out your project and add the coordinating Stampin' Up! embellishments that you love for texture and dimension. What an exciting tool to have for your paper crafts. Release date is yet to be determined. Contact me to reserve your copy.

This was a stamp a stack class we did in July using the Herbal Expressions stamp set. We made 5 note cards of each design and I gave each participant a decorated box to place their cards in. Some attendees embossed the kraft card stock using the Big Shot texturz plates. This has been my favorite design so far. I like the natural pallet of kraft, chocolate chip and rose red. I also combined kraft, rich razzleberry and bashful blue for the lavender card which was also very natural and coordinated well.
My mom likes butterflies so what better stamp set to use than God's Beauty. I stamped the leaves on whisper white card stock and colored them with old olive and certainly celery ink. The butterfly I embossed and colored with barely banana, lavender lace and perfect plum. The card stock is bashful blue and elegant eggplant. I cut out all leaves and mounted them and the butterfly with dimensionals. I also added some craft flowers and beads to the center of the flowers for more texture and dimension. Bear with my photography for awhile. I know the colors don't show up as they actually appear.
