Last night was our "Boys to Men" card class focusing on making cards for the boys and men in our lives.
For this card, I borrowed a layout from Papercrafts Magazine and focused on a color scheme that could be used for a younger boy or teen. I used Crystal effects to create "mod" buttons and add dimension to the gifts
Paper - Holiday Lounge, To the Nines DSP, whisper white, black card stock.
Stamps - Happy Moments
Ink - Basic Black, sahara sand, ruby red
Accessories - Crystal effects, black brads, mat pack, Crop-A-Dile, 1/2" circle punch
And for the men, we used the Nouveau Chic DSP, distressed edges and manly grommets
Paper - Nouveau Chic DSP, black, sage shadow, basic grey and whisper white card stock
Stamps - Well Scripted
Ink - basic black
Accessories - Jumbo pewter eyelets, silver brads, black ribbon, circle scissors plus, Crop-a-dile, mat pack, daubers
Oh your mod buttons are so cool! Are they paper and crystal effects? Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment, I love comments!
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are amazing but I love the first one! The colours and layout just scream man card.
