Last Chance for Humor in High Heels

This is a card I made for a belated birthday wish stamped with Humor in High Heels. This is one of my favorite stamp sets for belated birthdays and it is on the Last Chance List. Also on the Last Chance List is the Trio Flower Punch which the flowers were created with. You have until June 30th to order items for The Last Chance List.

I wanted to keep the card simple, like a perfect simple summer dress.

Paper - Sweet Pea DSP, daffodil delight, basic gray, whisper white card stock
Stamps - Humor in High Heels
Ink - basic black, going gray, daffodil delight
Accessories - Little Leaves die, trio flower punch, hole punch, dimensionals, pretties

Stamps - Humor in High Heels

For the Bride to Be

Here is a card I made for a bride-to-be. Yes, the dress is from Humor in High Heels, but I have modified the skirt to be much fuller for a wedding dress. I added a little tule and pearls and of course some glitter. What would a bride be without pretties and a little bling?

Stamps - Humor in High Heels, Matchbox Messages
Ink - basic black, going grey
Paper - Bride, whisper white and basic grey card stock
Accessories - Sizzix finial embossing folder, lots of tags die, pretties, dazzling diamonds glitter, whisper white taffeta ribbon, dimensionals, tule.

Little Dresses

Megan in her "Dorothy" dress.

Cutting out this little dress, I was reminded of all the dresses I used to make for Megan. I decided to sew and gather on this card like I used to do with her dresses. When Megan was little  she would ONLY wear dresses. - not just dresses, but frilly dresses. I used to sew her little dresses at night after she went to bed. I remember gathering yards and yards of fabric to make the full skirts and sewing on pearly buttons, trims and decorative ribbons. It was so fun to pick out the fabric, ribbons and buttons. Now my little girl is taller than I am and wears jeans, shirts and sports uniforms.  I now place buttons and ribbons on cards instead of little dresses.  - Where do the time go?

Paper - Sweet Pea DSP, bashful blue, pumpkin pie and whisper white card stock
Stamps - Humor in High Heels, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink - basic black
Accessories - whisper white satin ribbon, pretties, sewing machine
