Last Card for the Weekend

WHEW! last card now it's off to the party. I wanted to make a very special card for my friends 50th birthday and I got to try all sorts of new products. This may be a little over the top, but hey! it's a 50th birthday. I used my printer to print the 50 and stamped over that image. Instead of using colored card stock for the flowers, I like to sponge the color so they don't look too flat. Here I used blush blossom for a light peach look ( retired).  I also like to use sahara sand to distress edges for a softer look.

After today, it's on to the 8th grade dance decorations - No rest for the wicked:)

All Items Stampin' Up! unless indicated
Stamps - Watercolor trio, Just Rite- Kindness
Ink - old olive, crumb cake, blush blossom, sahara sand
Paper - PinkPaisley Butterfly Garden DSP, crumb cake, very vanilla card stock
Accessories - 1 3/4" 1 3/8" 1" circle punches, antique brad, very vanilla seam binding, basic pearl jewels, dimensionals, Spellbinders label #20
