Goodbye Little Dempsey

We had to say goodbye to our little "winky" Dempsey this week. His other eye ulcerated and became infected. Given his onset of dimensia and other health issues,  we were left with the hard decision not to put him through another painful operation and end his suffering. We will miss our sweet little buddy. He was a GREAT doggie.

    Tara: My heart breaks for you and can only image how sad your home and heart must feel. Take time to heal and know that all the wonderful years you had with your dear Dempsey will give you a lifetime of fabulous memories that you can draw upon for strength.     Oh, Tara, this makes me very sad for you and your family. Having put down the best cat EVER in October 2010, I know it just rips your heart apart to lose a furry best friend. May your healing begin soon.

    I am so sorry and saddened to hear the news about Dempsey. Pets are so special and it's never easy to say goodbye. I know Dempsey was loved very much and he brought much love and joy to you and your family. May the sadness of his absence be replaced with many smiles and sweet memories of him.
